Title: RE: Re[2]: [M-User] Any suggestions re. modifying the Migrate module so as to copy to file just a sub-tree of the folder structure ?

I think Migrate (in principle) will do exactly what I want :

VZ> DBW> MH format - I need to recompile for this, yes ? What are the problems ?

VZ>  No, you don't need to recompile, support for it is included by default.
VZ> The problems are bad flags handling (e.g. flags like "Important" are simply not remembered when you VZ> VZ> close the folder and open it again), poor perfomance and maybe more. So it's pretty bad for day to day VZ> use. But it could be just fine for export/archival.

Which is what I want it for ...

VZ>  If you already have a way to create HTML from MBOX this would also work with MH files. The difference VZ> between MBOX and MH is that MBOX folder contains many messages while in MH the folder is a directory VZ> with many files each of which contains exactly one message.

Yes strictly I am handling MH format so far, but that is what I need ...

VZ> What is slightly more involved is decoding MIME-encoded parts. But GNU
VZ> mailutils might be able to do this.

Yes you are quite right, but for my web page application for the oment  I am happy with
the transformed text or original html -
A lot of the graphics are in the form : src="" so I suppose these will
Still work. With any other embedded photos - I might try handling graphic attachments as a later stage.

OK, I have just remembered that I have a very old ("NT") mail address with a few
messages still in it,
So tried Tools => Migrate on that - and it is quite clear that in principle,
Migrate will do exactly what I want - I have now pointed it at sub tree [Groups => pine ]of my
Primary mail account, and it is clearly trying to just copy the sub tree to files/directories :

However I get some error messages :

Is it possible that browse has a confusion over forward/backward slashes ? Or C: vs D: ?
Any help much appreciated, now that I am this near ...
Cheers,
