 So this would be somewhat similar to "Downloads" window of a web browser,
right?

 I agree it would be a useful feature and probably not very difficult to
implement. I don't promise to do it immediately as the main task for me
right now is to make Mahogany work with wxWidgets 3 meaning adding full
Unicode support but I could do it later. Please open an entry in the bug
tracker for this so that I don't forget about it.
