Hi,
i am a student in Model Engineering College. My project is Controlling a
media player using a remote control ( Similar to LIRC ).
I made the circuit and it is connected to the serial port. Does anybody know
how to program the serial port so that i can read the signals from the
serial port.
i used
open("/dev/ttyS0", O_RDONLY)
method. but i am not able to receive the signals.
But if my serial mouse is connected, i can read from ttyS0.
is there any other method or do i have to write a proper device driver for
the serial port.
Plz help me. Its urgent
