Hello, I read in http://www.lirc.org/receivers.html that the circuit which u are using now doesn't comply with the rs232 standards. they have given a more complex rs232 compatible circuit. http://www.tb-electronic.de/vdr/lirc/lirc_rx.html I dont know whether this shud be the problem... just giving a suggestion.
