Hi Jos,

I'm Using AMD Athlon XP 2000+. Support seems to be okay since all hardware is
working fine. I have been using 64-bit Fedora linux on this machine since
2004 September (FC2 X86_64) and haven't had any hardware issues. I haven't
done much of benchmarking on this, but however there doesn't seem to be much
of a big performance advantage over the 32 bit Fedora. I'm running 64-bit
system only to learn it better. If you don't like to experiment, I'd suggest
installing a 32-bit version only. Mainly because a few things are still
missing on 64-bit version, such as flash plugin. Also certain wifi cards
using ndiswrapper will not work in the 64-bit version. That's all what I have
encountered so far. Back in 2004 there seemed to be some issues with wine
running 32-bit windows apps, but they are working fine now.

My relevant hardware spec:
AMD Athlon XP 2000+
1 GB DDR 400MHz RAM
Asrock Motherboard with SiS chipset
NVidia GeForce MX 4000 Graphics
2 x Samsung 80 GB SATA HDD, RAID1
Sony DVD RW Drive
Sony FDD

Sunjith
