Hello Madhu I totally agree with you on the fact that the new users (school students, teachers and home users) need to be given more importance. In fact the same point was raised when I posted last months meeting details.
I guess for school students and teachers we need to arrange some awareness camp or one day training. And for home users the only way is to spread word through hardware vendors, internet cafes, book shops and electronic shops. We can plan the next months meeting specifically for this category of users. We can spread word about the meeting in these places. And we can also send the meeting posters to schools, colleges and training institutes. I heard they have already conducted a one day camp for CBSE students in Model Engg college and are planning for the State Syllabus students in next month. Probably the MEC people on the list can share how the programme was conducted and how it went about. And what is your idea on conducting a one day Install Fest programme with good publicity in a spacious hall. What do you say ??
