When I brought my laptop (Thinkpad) I asked them about this. They said they don't have such an option. I asked them to give me the laptop without installing any Operating System. They said "That is not possible". Then after buying the laptop, I took one day leave, formatted the hard disk, Installed and configured Linux. :-) Actually, I paid for Vista, knowing that I'm not going to use it. Because that was the only choice.
