The most important thing to teach is the answer to the question
"Why should we use free softwares when most of the people around us
use non-free softwares?".
Philosophy and logical approach are the back bones of scietific theory
upon which
the modern computer technology is build up. (Much similar to air,
water and life).
It is better if we are aware of it.

Secondly philosophy is the drive behind civilization.

Computer softwares will work exactly as written by the author/s of
the software.
No chance of not working.

A real friend will help us to understand things and improve ourselves.
Will the non-free softwares help us in learning "the system". I think
they prohibit us.

Harmful to whom ?, the users, authors or distributors of the s/w.
Removing the s/w will not eliminate the harm created by using
the it.
