Tata photon works fine with the blue epiValley modem. Need to have the usb modswitch package installed and wvdial.
On Ubuntu Lucid - theres a new GUI config wizard even which detects-runs everything outta-the-box Good Luck :) AFAIK all wireless opr gives limited plans only. and speeds vary a lot unlike wired connections. Wireless offers great reliability though as the connections usually dont drop once connected.
