I do not understand what you're trying to prove. Nobody here said Linux was BSD's papa. Don't understand what ticked you off. If Plan9/Hurd was here, and ruling the OS world, would you have made the same statement? When I started with Linux, I did not find BSDs attractive enough to migrate to/delve into it. That, and the attitude with BSD folks. I don't care about heritage. Does anyone in this list try to find the heritage of OS/software before switching into it?
