I don't understand. What are you trying to say? More updates == more buggy?

A distro is released when EVERY component seems to work perfectly. People who
can break a sweat and repair it themselves can straight away download the
latest
package. Apt-pinning anyone?

Siju, chakkare, my brother-from-another-mother, when you talk of BSDs you are
but bringing in 3-4 different SEPARATE kernels and associated programmes.
{Free,Open,Net,whatnot}BSD, AFAIK are separately maintained trees, with
separate aims. One for security, one for maximum portability to anything but a
dead badger?!?!

Linux is but a SINGLE source, but following a decentralised development model.
You want the default, download off kernel.org. You want a different scheduler,
get it from -mm or -ck branch.

There are no half-bastardly cousins to Linux, if you don't consider Android or
MeeGo.

LOLz to you if you consider /. to be an authority. Its a place where people
state their opinions, with more zeal and vigour than here. If you read along,
you may find different people making different opinions, with "facts" :)

But you're not a quitter, and I like you for it :)

I'll be happy to drop in. Will ping ya when I'm free.

Oh yes, I'll buy you a drink too. All expenses on me?
