You're mixing your context. Sometimes you quote BSD as a software bundle
(distribution), other times, as just a kernel?
I said a GNU/Linux distro giving up an exotic hardware is Good Thing{tm}. But I
still believe Linux kernel has support for the said architectures (the one in
the list)

OK :)
NetBSD sole purpose of existence is to be ported to maximum number of
architectures. Sometimes you drag in FreeBSD, which is only concentrating on
productive machines? Next you bring in DragonFlyBSD which is again a fork for
what, better threading etc?

In fact, I'm still lol-ing :)

I've made my point above ^^

In fact, it is :)

Anyone reading /. is best left to judge something on his own. If I you say I
made my mind reading /. posts, then I am always right :) But I am not :)

YMMV, in any case whatsoever. Would you ditch your oh-so-loving wife if you
read
a review on Cosmopolitan or something extolling the great qualities of Shakira
or Scarlett Johansson??
You stick with what you tried and found best, and can relate to, at all levels
-- technical and philosophical.
I stick with what suit me best. Plus you're NOT comparing apples with apples.
You bring in BSD to sometime morph into a kernel just to suit your argument,
and
at othertimes, to a full fledged bundle of software (distro)

I can see ARM rising up in the horizon :)
Godspeed!
