No. All you need for a complete installation is covered in <https://docs.mailman3.org/en/latest/devsetup.html>. Until a moment ago, this page mentioned Mailman bundler which is obsolete and didn't mention mailman-suite, but I have fixed that. I personally give priority to list email over personal email except in cases where a list thread is becoming too arcane and is taken off-list.
