So the exim router and transport are working, it's just that the pipe to
post to the list fails when you are the sender.

Since you have server access, look in Mailman's logs in
/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/logs/ (particularly, `error`) for an
error message relating to this.

That looks right. Anyway. this wouldn't be a lock issue.

It's not permissions because things work except for posts specifically
from your address.

As far as I know cPanel's MTA is exim and shouldn't require aliases to
deliver to mailman. But then I'm not a cPanel expert or even a cPanel
novice.

However, the mail is properly being piped to

 |/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman post
nome-announce_nomekennelclub.com

so the issue is not in delivery, but why the pipe fails. There should be
info in Mailman's error log.
