In the dialog box for moving messages, which appears with option-command T, I begin to type the name of the mailbox in order to move the selected message there. As I type, I see the OS telling me what it's going to change my text to, in blue with a cross to cancel.

To be sure: You have disabled “Edit ▸ Spelling and Grammar ▸ Correct Spelling Automatically”?
