[Zimbra]
Unlike the previous correspondent, I actually found the IMAP server to
be
pretty solid and would be curious what lead that person to dislike it
(though that may be a bit afield for this list).
It was simply a non-scientific comment based on the number of times I've
been contacted by Zimbra users and the results of Zimbra in this
[test](http://imapwiki.org/ImapTest/ServerStatus). As I noted the test
is old though and Zimbra might perform much better now.
A quick review of the emails reveal that most of the time it is about
this [issue](https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3061). In
short, drafts in MailMate are (currently) saved exactly in the form that
they are also sent. This means that after sending then MailMate only
needs to remove the so-called `\Drafts` flag and then move the message
to Sent Messages. This doesn't work with Zimbra. Removing the `\Drafts`
flag fails with Zimbra. (I did a workaround in the past, but I'm not
sure it actually works anymore.)
In any case, Zimbra is certainly a much better choice than some of the
alternatives. In particular, I do not hesitate with discouraging any use
of GroupWise IMAP.
