No, it works for me (Yosemite) holding down ⌘. Does the problem
persist after relaunching MailMate?
Played around some more, and figured out the "real" problem: It works
when Safari is set to be the system's default browser, but not Chrome
(which is what I recently switched [back] to for my default browser).
