and optimally I would like that `Unread` is all except what is
already covered by any of the smart folders.
Since that would be kinda of a circular definition it would be nice
being able to say in Unread
something like exclude mails that are in a subfolder of a specific
folder (i.e. something like "Do not include Unread/*"
If I understand correctly then this would be possible with the “None
of the following” option in the Mailboxes pane of the smart mailbox
editor? (Possibly combined with the non-existing “Include messages
of all submailboxes” feature.)
Actually, I just checked again and what I actually have is:
```
Unread
- Inbox
- smart folder 1
- smart folder 1
- smart folder ..
- smart folder 150+
``
then "Inbox" is at the moment "All in Unread" + a bunch of "does not
exist in smart folder N" references.
If I had a way to say "do not include Unread/*" I could remove Inbox
above or I would have to move it outside this hierarchy as
otherwise Inbox would itself be part of the "do not include unread/*"
pattern ;)
In any case - just looking as initial poster of this thread for a way to
avoid having to go and add each smart folder to the Inbox one ;)
