Now that I know about it, I have been using the option-click at minus a
few times a day so yes it comes handy :-)

Well, I would just document it. It might come handy at times.
What is missing only is shift-click on minus to restore old
selection even if something was selected in the search results.
So that's a feature request I assume :) I'll make another note.
