Is it possible that they were marked as spam by your mail server, that is before they got into MM? To change the status, there is an item under the Message menu called Junk State.

Also, given a list of messages, how I can reset their Not Junk (or Junk) status?

Hello,

I uninstalled Mailmate and reinstalled it. Then I wanted to apply the advice in the [Disabling Image Blocking for Trusted Senders](https://blog.freron.com/2012/disabling-image-blocking-for-trusted-senders/) blog post.

However via the indicated rule on a "Smart Mailbox" ("Keywords/Tags" include "Not Junk"), I've got a whole set of emails that are marked as Not Junk already.

How can I start with an install that has no emails marked as "Not Junk"? Where is this information persisted? How can I delete it?
