I've missed this behaviour since migrating from Mailsmith.
Thanks for the hint. It brought me to Preferences->Composer->Rich Text
(HTML) Markup Syntax. If I switch that to None I get plain text when
replying, so that leaves the remaining problem the automatic display of
IMAP account sub mailboxes. Anyone got an idea for that?
BTW thanks for others who replied, migration assistant probably would be
a good idea if I had access to the old machine, which I unfortunately
don’t have. I do have user backups, so I might be able recover the
stuff under ~/Library, but as it used not the exact email accounts just
copy those over will not work. I investigate further though.
