It's not from Google; I think "Google" was a verb in that "Google
Imapsync" suggestion. :-)

I wasn’t aware that imapsync was produced by Google.
I can state that I moved 40GB of mail data around with it when I
changed mail servers and it worked very well indeed.

I haven't used Google's tools (and, speaking personally, Google is
not the most standards-compliant organization, so I'd probably use
them mostly for moving mail to or from Google rather than between
non-Google systems), but I have used Dovecot's dsync tool to move
between different IMAP servers. See

Very powerful tool for this type of use.

I would like to move/copy a mailbox tree (i.e. mailboxes that
contain other mailboxes) from one IMAP server account to another.
I tried just Option-drag and only the top mailbox was copied. It
is empty on the new server as it only contained other mailboxes.
How can I accomplish moving the entire tree? Thanks.
