Thank you for the recommendation. I did get it to work. It ran quite slowly, but I suspect I was being throttled by Gmail. I did have a problem with a memory leak. So I had to kill it and restart it a couple of times. I was moving a 2GB mail account and it grew to over 25GB with less than 20% done. I found a recommendation to use the “-useuid” option which made it grow much more slowly (I still suspect a memory leak - just a much smaller one). I do agree it is a very powerful tool.

I would like to move/copy a mailbox tree (i.e. mailboxes that contain other mailboxes) from one IMAP server account to another. I tried just Option-drag and only the top mailbox was copied. It is empty on the new server as it only contained other mailboxes. How can I accomplish moving the entire tree? Thanks.

Google Imapsync

Very powerful tool for this type of use.

Yes, I've used this a few times, and highly recommend it.
