[MlMt] Empty submailbox shows up when it shouldn't

I have the submailboxes for my unread folder configured as follows:

Where there are any unread messages, my unread folder displays as follows:

See the usps submailbox? It’s empty… there are no unread messages from 
usps.com. As soon as I read and dispose of the messages from gmail, both gmail 
and usps will disappear.

I’m running MailMate Version 1.14 (5807) on a MacBook Air M1 with Sonoma 14.4.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?
