I have the submailboxes for my unread folder configured as follows:

![](cid:[email protected] "PastedImage.png")

Where there are any unread messages, my unread folder displays as follows:

![](cid:[email protected] "PastedImage.png")

See the usps submailbox? It’s empty… there are no unread messages from usps.com. As soon as I read and dispose of the messages from gmail, both gmail and usps will disappear.

I’m running MailMate Version 1.14 (5807) on a MacBook Air M1 with Sonoma 14.4.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

I used to see that frequently, but it has ceased in recent pre-release versions. There are also a number of display configuration persistence problems which have died off in the past year or so.

You should try upgrading to the last "beta" release (6272) or even to the latest test release (6292). See https://updates.mailmate-app.com/archives/ for the directory of all versions back to 2651 (2011-12-22)
