-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Dear mail operators,
I am running a mailman instance, and until recently I had no spam at all incoming to the lists. Now I have the issue that the moderation queues get quite a bit of spam impact. The list subscribers are fine, because the spam is moderated; however, the moderators themselves often have accounts on third party systems. They receive daily and immediate reports on mails in moderation queues (immediate can be disabled). The immediate reports contain the original message as full attachment, which sometimes lets a moderators MSP reject the mail as spam. This is unfortunate, because it both harms moderation and possibly my servers reputation. I wonder what the best current practice with respect to that is? My hotfix for my current issue is a mixture of disabling the immediate reports and resorting to daily reminders and removing third-party hosted moderator accounts, depending on the specific moderation needs of the lists. looking forward to your suggestions, Jonas Wielicki -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIcBAEBCgAGBQJVSbXHAAoJEMBiAyWXYliKPb0P/0OnUSOzZjCgjOF5kJErDR3M OcxTv+dQCrXJT/veJYrTacYvbPXbCurRJus3aH1IVIZVUFdA7QG1+9xOPZ181EY6 I8KOtYFo9hAg96kDaDR713z1+/sHLhfB5OeJIn6B9DJm7ik66jrXaWHUickX19lA QUKvFJ6czm0I61DOWdy7mMVKciHWwIWeNimTPSwnlwILHueQ16z7u94bm+yn1nk5 waAU/lQ1aqtRn9w9IwQGEzDCdTLeC7QZdIu9JNnQi+AYKLs2ehqOhyK2LPOengrT CKkVvtzHtej4hDqaeKyHnn9kwWON0wHw425hAVJiwpDSRsom4E69Y1Q3x+L1OQDA iSnYMdg/SdOluzv/Z6XPfKOlpdY9d/tDWaJRSFWyxwzlyIPeJ0OWKcaOyYRKIiOO SJHLm7wCIxwCfr8yQMuL/1yq2ujYprT3ZBvMLFjyXBLNES+9fa/Yp0OpsGZGLGu1 rUNMgfgem6mXJTNoLEn61jh00IW8QUmrgPPjQzyZ0S4fxwR8rEiGj5DZRf2Npj+X vf0z75jJxWZ6ra8LxioNMOuh4LY3cvpije6X8QBxRnqn6LCCc/W1vFZGs2V8eCkT vCU2UP3eBTXamVvd81SzMWkvZrPY9f6L/shlfgP42gsuG9HJNzsoRQsfB5yWEvYn FDmiknMw2g2j09dJ5pIg =8sIL -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ mailop mailing list [email protected] http://chilli.nosignal.org/mailman/listinfo/mailop
