Hello All

We are having delivery issues to Gmail. A lot of emails are forwarded
through our SMTP relay. Emails forwarded through the system going to
gmail.com are being rate limited. Interestingly, this is limited to Google
Apps hosted domains going to gmail.com

For example,

abc.com is hosted in google apps. They send a mail to xyz.com but xyz.com
has a forwarder setup to forward mails [email protected]. Gmail is rejecting
all mails to rst.com coming from abc.com

abc.com SPF records do not contain our SPF records because they are
forwarded.

This has started in the last day or two. So, I am guessing that Google has
made some changes.

Anyone from google able to confirm?

We will never be able these forwarded emails to gmail.com at all if this is
the case. I am sure many other would run into this problem as well.

Any recommendations? SRS could possibly be a solution but this will force
all our customers to adopt SRS.

Thanks.
