Hi,

Somebody here from Apple?

They're sending mails from @myapple.com which has MX-Records pointing to
127.0.0.6. Because of that "bogus mx" records and -in addition to that-
also a mismatch between from domain and mailhost PTR domain it's very
similar to faked spam mails. We have many blocked mails here and many
user complaints about that.

peer@flashback ~ $ host myapple.com
myapple.com has address 17.254.3.183
myapple.com mail is handled by 10 mail.myapple.com.

peer@flashback ~ $ host mail.myapple.com
mail.myapple.com has address 127.0.0.6

I don't think Apple should do this on such important mails like Apple ID.

Does somebody know which IP ranges Apple is using for those mails? It's
a wide range out of 17.0.0.0/8, but we've seen also other networks from
external providers, so it's difficult to whitelist them.

Peer
