I manage a mail server for a small company. Generally things work fine.

About a week ago, two on-site engineers began to have trouble getting email
delivered to customers at the site where they are working. They are working
at one of many locations operated by a large organization in the US.
Examining mail server logs showed that the undelivered messages received a
250 status when my client's server attempted delivery. So I have no
indication of the problem. A request to postmaster@LargeOrganization has
gone unanswered. It would not surprise me, of course, if the team managing
Large Organization's servers responds to internal requests first.

So one of the on-site engineers had the notion to change MUAs from Outlook
2016 to Claws Mail. Now his email to Large Organization is being delivered.

If you had this problem, where would you start looking?

Thanks,

Ken
