And what actually differentiates "business email" from "consumer email" in this aspect? There was an example of mailing lists mentioned in the message you are replying to. People *do* use mailing lists not only for business purposes, but also from private (aka "consumer") email accounts, for private purposes as well. And they *do want* to receive messages from these lists.
