I received a couple of e-mail messages at Gmail today stating that trial deposits were made to my Amazon Credit Account Builder account. Synchrony Bank is the issuer of these credit cards. The messages all pass SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Synchrony Bank support numbers are being overwhelmed by customer inquiries, making it difficult to reach anyone. The representative I finally reached was instructed to inform customers to ignore the spam.
