Thanks for the update. I don't have an Amazon credit card but do hold a Synchrony Bank account. After seeing SPF, DKIM, and DMARC all pass Gmail tests, I wondered whether my account or credit was compromised.

Per Amazon's response to the issue on Reddit (of all places), copied below, it doesn't sound like anything was compromised, just a bug in an automated messaging script. Sounds like they are still figuring out the scope of the bug, though, as I know some folks who don't have store cards who also got the messages. (From https://old.reddit.com/r/AmazonHelp/comments/e1la88/synchrony_bank_trial_deposits/) At this time, all Store Card holders have received up to 3 emails indicating that action is required, and / or trial deposits were made to your credit builder account. Synchrony bank has notified Amazon that there was a glitch in their email processing system that caused a workflow of emails to be sent to a wider than intended audience. Once the issue has been solved, card members will receive an email from Synchrony bank confirming the resolution.
