Those two cloud providers are currently providing 99% of the incoming spam at one site.

googleusercontent.com sends a never-ending flood of DHL phishing mails.

linodeusercontent.com sends unsolicited ad crap using a domain "klwinkel.app".

Time for large scale IP range blocking, I really can't stand this anymore.

Is there anybody there who reads abuse reports, tracks down culprits and *fooking shuts them down*?

Generic regex stops those.. I used to speak up for Linode, but it has been getting a lot worse last couple of weeks again.. Obvious bad guys..

Just saw malware hosted on 139.144.248.95,
https://acesso.suportecontatodisponivel.org/ as we speak..

And lots' of obvious phishing domains spamming as well.

The googleusercontent ones though, usually don't have custom PTR records, so we never see any of the spam, we DO see the authentication attacks from them.

Seems like most of it is targeting Latin America now.

The guy that used to use Azure, appears to have moved to Linode, wonder why? Anyone else getting a sense that Linode has been worse since the acquisition?

But it isn't really the traditional 'spammers', it is the amount of threats and criminal activity allowed that bothers me personally.

Something has to change.. Open letter to the Feds Consumer protection branch to those big companies that allow illegal activity to be ongoing?

Oh, and Microsoft.. 20 year old spam campaigns STILL aren't caught by your outbound filters? Can't OpenAI help you?

If I get just ONE more Nigerian Prince scam in my spam folder, I am going to scream.. Expect to see more blocking rules for the too big to block.. Let's start with all the ones from gmail and microsoft to 'Undisclosed Recipient' but instead of 550, everyone send a 4XX, let it back up ;)
