Yes, I've noticed macro handling is not really implemented in smtpctl spf walk.

The again if I read the spec right, at leas some of those things would return 
strings
such as error messages which in the context that script is used would anyway not
be terribly relevant.

If I can find enough round tuits I will likely look into this a bit more.
