I'm not saying that it is the cookies. What I am saying is that with Offline mode enabled, simply adding a new Labs feature via Mailplane has not yet properly worked. I am forced to jump through the hoops to make sure that it is working in an Offline-free setup (by removing GMail from Google Gears completely), and then re-enabling offline mode as I directed above. I may just be an edge case, but those instructions have solved every issue I've had with Offline access so far.
