Mailplane 2.0.2 doesn't load Google Gears. But, as it is an
InputManager/Browser plugin it still could alter the Mailplane works.
Though, I haven't experienced the same problems with 2.0.2 and
Gears/Safari.
Before digging deeper, please delete your cookies:

• Do a Mailplane->Empty Cache

• Stop Mailplane

• Open Finder

• Go to ~/Library/Application Support/Mailplane

• Delete all *.cookies files (*do not delete Accounts.xml)*

• Start Mailplane
