Deleting he cookies didn't help. But before that the offline syncing
woke and tried to sync (if though Mailplane 2.0.2 doesn't support the
offline feature?). And the it got stuck: "Status: Showing only
messages located on this computer while your offline changes are
synchronizing. 4 operations left to upload."

The operations count increased by one every time I quit and restarted
Mailplane.

I have now disabled Offline in Safari, and then had to so it also in
Mailplane. I think I'm going to let Offline Gmail rest until some more
wrinkles have been ironed ut. I have internet access almost everywhere
and could always use my mobile  to access gmail so I'll manage anyway.
