Hi Ruben, I have sent the screenshots you asked for but I have solved the problem.
It seems to be a keychain issue. I have un-checked 'Automatically login...' and 'Store password in keychain' and I have successfully logged in manually to Gmail using Mailplane. I have re-check those two option, quit and re-launched Mailplane and automatic login works. It continues to work after a restart of my Mac as well.
