Hi Ruben,
Sorry I forgot to come back here.
This seems to happen when images are sent as inline attachments. At
the moment I'm having this problem with images sent from an Apple Mail
client. In fact, I can't even right click on the images. I'll have to
save the raw text and decode it with another app.
Inline images are shown in their natural size, no thumbnails, and are
not included in the attachment controls for downloading, either
individually or as a group.
My request would be that there be better handling of inline images:
1. a way to limit the size of inline images, so that they don't blow
up one's message window
2. that they be downloadable just like any other attachment. I realize
that some emails may include them as part of the formatting (aka
advertisements), but this could be either a preference or an option
local to a specific email ("Inline images are attachments").
Thanks,
Erik.
