This may be more of a global issue. I had to switch to the HTML view this morning to get my main account to load (the others all worked fine), and all functions were painfully slow. This on the iMac over our network using AT&T DSL.
This appears to be partly a network issue, as everything seems to be moving sluggishly, but I'm thinking the rest may be a Gmail issue.
