Hi Alan,I tried
the keyboard shortcuts in rich text and plain text and I got the same
results in Safari 4.0.2: This
is the way WebKit works and Mailplane should not change
WebKit. Even Mail.app's rich text editor works this way (it uses WebKit
too).

BTW: Do you mean ctrl-k instead of ctrl-y?
