I'm running Mailplane 2.1 beta (1225) on MacOS Leopard 10.5.8 with the latest updates, Gears 0.5.32.0 plugin, and Safari 4.0.3 (5531.9).
I think the Gears plugin may have auto-updated sometime in the last couple of days, but now I'm getting a lot of the red ! icon and messages saying "Status: Synchronization has unexpectedly stopped."
