In Microsoft Entourage there's an option int he Print Dialog to "print selection." This prints whatever text you have highlighted in the selected email as well as the short headers of the message. I am moving a client of mine to Mailplane now that he's embraced his new Google Apps and Gmail accounts, and getting him away from Entourage, but the Print Selection feature is something he uses dozens of times a day. It's a critical part of his workflow. Is there any way to accomplish this from Mailplane? If not, I'm afraid he's going to insist on sticking with Entourage :(
