Scott, thanks for suggesting this!  I've been having this same problem, I 
think since I upgraded to Mailplane 2.4. For me it had nothing to do with 
periods in the email address or cookies. At seemingly random times I start 
getting "Your action was unsuccessful. Please try again.". Once that started 
in a session, it would stick until I quit and restarted Mailplane.

After your post I turned off Multiple Accounts and I've had a few hours now 
without the problem. Is this a known issue with Mailplane? I haven't found a 
web page about it and it worked fine for me until recently (as I said, it 
seemed to start with 2.4).
