I have the same problem, but am not able to find the cookie file in MailPlane. I did delete the files in both Safari and Firefox, but it didn't fix the problem, and the files keep reappearing! Can anyone help?
Interestingly, I'm not having this problem on my MacBook Air, only on my iMac.
