And here is the reply that I received from the mailing list. Unfortunately, when using quick reply, you don't get the new larger font, only on new messages. I will work on applying the css to that text area as well. If there was a way to do JS injection, I think I could solve this darn cursor key not working until you tab and shift tab back <tab-shift-tba> (just tab used to work a week ago, damn you "new look ) to the text area.
It's a little large, so I won't abuse email and post it inline, but you will clearly get the idea that it is the right size, and is also clearly not a monospaced font. Oh, keep in mind, many of you may not have "Consolas" and "DejaVu Sans Mono" is sort of the "Monaco" of windows from what I gather. If you want Consolas, which is a wonderful programmers font, and has taken over Monaco *for me*, ( I know, the *blasphemy*, but it is *that* good ). Over 15 years of Monaco, not a simple decision for sure. It is made by Microsoft ( Don't freak out just yet :) ) It was designed for programmers, for easy readability at small sizes – it meets those standards. If you have Office installed, which I hope you don't, then you have Consolas. Since you are cool and don't have Office installed, you can download it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=17879 Enjoy! -- Scott On Tue, Nov 22, 2011 at 5:08 AM, Scott Haneda <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello fello MailPlane users, > > This is a test to show that you can in fact make the type larger just in > the <textarea> where you type.
