Can confirm that on my MC813LL (mid 2011 27")  on Lion, this does
indeed solve the problem. Been suffering with this issue out of
nowhere for 2 days.  One note, you may need to un-hide your library
folder if you are on Lion via terminal with: user$ chflags nohidden ~/
Library
