Very frequently, I'm looking at a long list of messages, and there's a cluster of messages somewhere in the list that I want to archive/re-label/delete/whatever. Rather than going down the list and clicking the small checkboxes to select the messages, I find it much faster to just use the keyboard, e.g., select the first message and then pound through cmd-T, cmd-down, cmd-T, cmd-down, etc.
In most programs, say, Mail, I can simply single-click on any random message and it's selected, and then I can extend the selection from there. But in Mailplane, I haven't been able to figure out how to select that starting message without actually opening it and then re-closing it. Even toggling the checkbox does not select the message. Is there some way to do this? As it is, I have to either open/close the first message, or hold down cmd-up/down until the selection cursor reaches the message. I'll award bonus points if there's a way to use the conventional keyboard and mouse shortcuts for extending selections, i.e., shift-clicking or shift-up/down to extend a selection, or command-clicking for non-contiguous selection. Heck, bonus points just for being able to use up/down to move the selection without having to also hold command :-). -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mailplaneapp" group.
