Thanks for writing.  No offence taken!  ;)

Can you try deleting your downloads, emptying your trash and a restart of
your computer (or at least a log out-log in).

And if it doesn't help you can select Mailplane inside Mail.app and enter
mailto:[email protected] in Safari which should bring up the respective
Mailplane instance. Afterwards the Activity Monitor.app can help finding
the location of that instance.
