Hi Bil, as a solution to this problem in general (it occurs for many Mac applications) you can just install htis utility:
http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/ You don't have to do anything to use it once it's installed. If it sees you throw an app in the trash, it finds its other components and asks you if you wanted to delete them too.
